Big announcement

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT.

As a pastor’s wife, anxiety sufferer, and mental health professional, I’ve been living at the intersection of faith and mental health for the past 6 years. 💙 I decided a while ago I want to do everything I can to help others who are in the middle of something I have survived. ✨✨

So, I’m creating an online digital course based off the Faith and Anxiety workshops I teach live at my church. The course will release November 2.

If you are:

  • Wondering if anxiety is a sin

  • Wondering if it’s ok for a Christian to take meds for anxiety

  • Dealing with shame and guilt, or accusations that your faith in Christ should be enough to heal you

  • Looking for actionable skills to help combat your anxiety with faith

THIS COURSE IS FOR YOU.

I am SUPER pumped to be able to share this information with you in a meaningful and accessible way.  I know social anxiety, time constraints, and finances can prevent people from getting help. Oftentimes just having a plan in place can bring relief and soothe your nerves. Let me be part of your recovery plan 💙

Message me with questions!

Happy Thursday friends!

Courage

Dear Elizabeth Gilbert:

You are rocking my face off right now with these words:

"Let's talk about courage right now.

You're afraid you have no talent.

You're afraid you'll be rejected or criticized or ridiculed or misunderstood.

You're afraid there's no market for your creativity, and therefore no point in pursuing it.

You're afraid someone else already did it better.

You're afraid you won't be taken seriously.

You're afraid your work isn't politically, emotionally, or artistically important enough to change anyone's life.

You're afraid your dreams are embarrassing.

You're afraid you don't have the right kind of training or degree.

You're afraid your best work is behind you.

You're afraid you never had any best work to begin with."

This basically sums up my fears about every personal and professional goal I've ever had. It's incredibly comforting to know that I am not alone in my self-dismissing thoughts.
